Suzie
We have had a mannequin in our class called Suzie. We designed a spacesuit for her.
She now has a jet pack. First we had to get a jet pack, poles, a mini generator and a platform, a switch and a little gauge. So we put it all together and now she can fly and steer… but she can also control her flight so if she needs to fly away real fast.
But if she went to a planet covered in spikes she would need boots. Her boots are super boots. If she jumps she will not stop (unless she uses her jet pack) Her boots are thick so she is a bit taller. They used pins for spikes and glow in the dark shapes.
But if she was going to space she would need a HELMET. The helmet may have a solar panel, light and some ivy. This is no ordinary helmet. It is an extraordinary helmet, good enough to go to space. It has all the features that would be good to have in space. It has the light on the top of the helmet, as to a camera.
Now I think Suzie can go to space, she looks awesome.

Now take a blue piece of paper. Cut it into a circle and take pen/pencil and draw a circle into circle and on the outside of drawn circle draw little ones.
Now underneath of that get a ruler to rule two lines altogether.
Now draw spikes in the middle to the left.
Now draw a line in middle.
Now do another spike to the side.
Now leave a space 3 ½ cm and do the same upside down.
Now in the middle of the gaps do a small square.
Now around the square it should look like this:
Now get dark blue and cut the corners and make them look like this:
Now stick them on like this:
on bottom left and right.
13. Now cut a shape like this:
and glue to the bottom.

What you need:
Coloured paper
A pen

A laminator
A Long Night
Dadump, dadump,dadump. Dadaaaa. The curtains OPENED. I saw the crowd.
Last night the middle and juniors did the variety show. It all started when I started walking to the college. When I got there I saw signs saying where to go so I walked into the room where everyone was
playing around.
About forty five minutes later we started to get ready. Finally we walked to thew staffroom and a couple of minutes later we walked onto the stage.
Finally the curtains opened and we started to sing ‘Wings Of Your Dreams’. We sat down and Room 7 did their performance.
Then it was our turn. We lined up in two lines. Tom put the sun up. The story was about Tane and the sun.
We turned the lights on. We started dancing like glimmering glow worms. Then all the trees/ rivers started doing their dance. The trees were really stiff and then all the birds started dancing and shaking their butts at the crowd. They lined up and then the morepork sounded.
It was a long wait and I was glad to get out of the stinky rubbish bag. Phew!
